Castle Craig Web Site now in full operation

Well, after two weeks of coding and information gathering, the Castle Craig web site is now in a “working” state.
Lots of content has been amassed and it is all here for your benefit.
Some features added recently ….
The site is now completely searchable.
From the Home Page, click the Search 1010caslecraig.org tab.
You can now lookup any Call Sign and find the 10-10 number,
or “reverse” lookup any 10-10 number and find the owner.
From the Chapter Information page, click the 10-10 Member Roster tab.
To report “gross” errors or if you would like to see something added, please contact the Webmaster.
2013 Ten-Ten International Convention coming to the Hartford Connecticut Area

The Castle Craig Chapter is pleased to announce that the 2013 Ten-Ten International Convention will be held at the Sheraton Bradley International Airport Hotel in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
(Airport code is BDL , also known as Hartford / Springfield, for those wanting to look up flights)
The dates of the convention are as follows:
Thursday, July 11, 2013 Board of Directors Meeting
Friday, July 12, 2013 Convention with Chapter Room
Saturday, July 13, 2013 Convention with Chapter Room and Saturday Evening Banquet
Sunday, July 14, 2013 Farewell Breakfast
The Castle Craig Chapter in Meriden, CT has been selected as the host chapter for the convention.
Since May, a committee of Castle Craig Chapter and Meriden Amateur Radio Club members has been working to make this happen.
We have secured a great location that is easy to get to, and close to popular Ham (ARRL) and non-Ham attractions.
The Sheraton Hotel is in Terminal A of Bradley International Airport and a 3 minute walk from any gate. More information will be forthcoming in he next few weeks and months.
Please reserve the second week in July 2013 to attend this event.

Castle Craig - 30 Years!

While gathering information to put this site together, both the Webmaster and the CH/CM realized that the chapter has been in existence since the summer of 1982!
Well, 30 years is cause for some mention of the chapters longevity and wishes to continue on for more years.
My congratulations to our ever suffering CH/CM, Al N1API for sticking with it making Castle Craig a great 10-10 chapter.

New Castle Craig Site

Our Certificate Manager, Al N1API, was keeping the chapter web pages on his ‘personal’ page.
This arrangement ended with the ISP making policy and pricing changes.
Now, the new webmaster, Mark K1PU, is hosting the chapter web pages on his work server farm.
For the next month or so, this site will be ‘under construction’, so stop back often and see what improvements are made and content added.
